Penelope's Pitstops is the first female friendly garage/MOT testing centre in the north-east region and aims to ensure women feel less intimidated and more comfortable when taking their car in for service or repair.
We at Penelope's Pitstops have first hand knowledge of how off-putting it can be, particularly for women, to walk into a garage when they have very limited knowledge of car mechanics.
Our research shows;
1. People generally feel uncomfortable going into an unfamiliar establishment.

Our main aims are;
